Many, many weeks ago, Illyana had been overconfident in her abilities, and attempted to teleport into one of those holes that had been popping up. After all, she could see inside, might as well try to get people out.
To her, it had been seconds as she passed through Limbo to exit her portal...except then her exit wasn't there anymore right as she started to pass through it. Everything started to twist around her, and Illyana (and all of Limbo in psychic sympathy) screamed.
Time was infinite and instant and on August 30th at Fandom High, the other end of her portal finally flared and sparked and spun into existence again... and dumped her out on her own bedroom floor. DEFINATELY not where she'd meant to go, but better than being stuck between realms.
It was a disheveled, panting, hurting 'Yana that laid on her floor, staring at the ceiling for a few moments before her phone started going off, catching up on all the messages she'd missed whilegetting her ego slapped she'd been stranded outside of time.
After about a half hour, she sighed, and reached for her phone, to see why, exactly, she had so many message beeps going off.
"...it's WHEN?!?!? Fuck me."
And of course the class schedule loading into her phone had alarms for two Monday classes going off. Because this universe was the worst.
[OOC: NFI, sorry I fell off the Earth because of grief and work shit. But 'Yana is back.]
